- Master's in Public Health (M.P.H.)
The Master of Public Health program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. CEPH is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs. Because of CEPH accreditation, you can rest assured that the education you receive will be of the highest quality and is up to date with the latest trends in the field.
As part of the accreditation process, every seven years, we must re-assess how well the program meets the criteria for Master of Public Health Programs set by CEPH. Although this program has been continually accredited over the past 20 years, our last reaccreditation was in 2016, and will last until 2023.
"When researching MPH programs, I literally looked at every accredited program in the country. One of the reasons NIU was at the top of my list was because I believed NIU could fit into my personal and professional life along with my other commitments."
